Make CEUs and CMEs
part of your sales model

When you offer a combination of product certification training as well as CME/CEU accredited courses1, you have a built in sales draw that is unbeatable.

StarCast allows you to offer both e-Learning and classroom training with CMEs and CEUs. We can help you with the process of developing and certifying your courses for CMEs or CEUs. The approval cost per course is usually modest but it can take 4-6 weeks for an approval.

The first step in certifying your training content is to determine which accrediting agencies will draw the largest audience among your practitioners. Keep in mind that courses for CME or CEUs are allowed to contain only limited information about your company or products. The content must be a neutral presentation of information without product hype. Generally evidence based information is best.

Accrediting Agencies: There are many accrediting agencies including NTS, SISI, CSI, NSCA, BOC, ABC, CPTA, ICE, NCCA, ANCC, ACCME, certain medical organizations and so forth. We can assist you in choosing the best accrediting agencies and help you in the application process.

Company developed certifications can be offered without accreditation by an approval agency body and may have sales/marketing information as part of the training content.

1A continuing medical education (CME) credit or a continuing education unit (CEU) is a measure used in continuing education programs to assist the professional to maintain his or her license in their profession. Continuing education or professional development is required in many professions including teachers, engineers and medical professionals. For medical CEUs / CMEs, the number of units required for each profession for each year is set state by state.
